Bessude is one of the smallest towns in the province of Sassari. Located approximately 450 meters above sea level at the base of Mount Pelao, you can arrive there via the neighboring towns of Siligo or Thiesi. Bessude is surrounded by a spectacular panorama. The cliffs and plateau of Mount Pelao mark the horizon. The town is encircled by the forest of Littu, the olives of Su Monte, the poplars of Pojos, the oaks of Sa Silva, and the stunning valley of Pumari and Badde. There are nearly 500 registered residents liveing in town as of 2009.
