GP32

The GP32 was created by Game park and released on 2001 in Korea. GP32 was short for Game park 32 bit. the GP32 was a media play which played games, music and movies. not many games were made for the GP32 because the GBA released in the same year. as well as the Nintendo had a hold of the market with the GBA. mostly the GP32 was homebrew, where you could register your GP32 on there website and get a free development kit with it to great your own applications or games for you GP32. free of charge as well ad publish the software on the there website of it was acceptable. for others. Emulators were created by the homebrew community, some systems were mostly retro systems like Atari, Dos, and commodore. as well as some others. the system it self used secured digital memory cards for the system. The GP32 was released on 2001 with non-lite screen which just did not have any light behind it. while the back-lit version came out in 2003. The screen size was 3.5in, and used two AA batteries, with about 6 to 12 hours of use. the system cost $239 when it came out. and $80 on ebay now.
