B&B IL SOLE DELLE RIVE

Sinio it’s the small medieval town where is located our B&B. Standing on the hills at 400 mt. it's located among vineyards that product grape for wines like Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera and the cultivations of hazelnut with recognized quality label IGP “Tonda gentile delle Langhe”.
Sinio despite its small size and population of only 450 inhabitants is one of the most culturally active town in Langhe. Thanks to the efforts of Oscar Barile, author and actor of dialect theater, the theater company "Il nostro teatro di Sinio" is known throughout the Piedmont.
The most important event is known as "Festa d’Sin-i" which takes place in the week of mid August and culminates in the "Night of witches" on August 14. Here we recall the legends related to the "witches" of the Langhe. Witches, jugglers, acrobats and musicians enliven the village for a night, in a whirlwind of sounds and emotions.
As part of the week festival, in the town squares and the surrounding farms are going on theater, children's games, evenings of music and photographic projections. The last day of the events culminating in the "merenda sinoira", a social early dinner in the main square there with music and dances.
Other important events are “Carmelina Brovia award” in May, the competition between theater companies who play in the squares of the village, the “Festa dell’allegria” during the Carnival and a social early dinner on Easter Monday.
