Traditionally a prevalently farming community, today Bosio maintains an important role in the production and commercialization of wine.
On the territory of Bosio, it is possible to produce wines following four prestigious Docg and Doc disciplinary protocols: Gavi or Cortese di Gavi Docg, Dolcetto di Ovada Doc, Monferrato doc and Piemonte doc.
The village is a member of the Italian association “Città del Vino” because of its deep-rooted history and culture of wine-making
