Aaaah, Kurdt, in the days before the ease of interwebs shopping and the like, Castlevania was irritatingly hard to find. Ended up forking out well over $100 aus for this guy coz I never thought I would see it again. That was hmm, akihabara, circa 2002.

Thanks Hursti, I have played Chaotix on emulator and well, it is lacking in much. Bland WTF level design (when you reach the end it just kind of fades) and an almost complete lack of enemies makes it an odd experience. The Chaos Emerald levels are interesting to look at though, as they try and promote the polygon pushing power of the 32X.

Intersting in that it is only Sonic Game that hasn't been added into a compilation set. And that include games like Sonic The Fighters (Oh, there was another arcade game that hasn't either, probably due to the ball control method).

I am just glad gaming history piece added:D

OK, Back to toys, well I guess the game is a toy.

Thanks to damn you Hussies I have the first wave of 4'' Bandai Thundercats.
They are neat toys, with a lot of fun little things thrown in. And now the hunt is on on Ebay to track down the 4'' action feature Grune and Mumm-Ra, The Thundertank and The first few 6'' inch figures.

Still. That looks like a sweet toy. Sadly My Marvel Medicom toys Broke in their boxes becasue of the cheap hollow bodies the RAH were made of, so I'm sticking to Figuarts for all things Kamen rider from now on.

Cheers SS. I bought those 3 all for 100.au( I bought my last daiman for 100 by herself.) Yeah. what is nazi kenpo?. I started collecting the Battle hackers after buying BH-04 to fin. the rocklord set.
Then bought bh-05 bh-02 and now bh-01. they're all quite random. but still the ones i got were reasonably priced (cept my first fossilsaurus:(:()

He is fantastic. Comes with 3 sets of eyes, hands, an effect part for his blade and his cape. One thing you will notice is that the white they used is more of a pearl white. Very nice.
He is a very nice addition to Metabee.

Good question Hursti?? They're bandai, the packs stamped 1985 . I'm guessing there is at least one more as those ones are mj-1 and mj-03.
It was actually after seeing doubledealers takara one that made me do a search where i found them.
While i'm asking questions does anyone know anything bout these guys? (or those guys) I thought now this will probably get confusing The boxed one and the armless one were battlehawks? but i've also seen the black ,mouse eared one in the same box.(could be a ko)

Not bad at all.
Nice tight joints, sharp paint apps and quite poseable.
My only complaints all have to do with the hair. Because its one solid piece of plastic it limits the amount of poseability in the head (especially when using the stand as it plugs into the hair) and it makes the figure top heavy meaning for most poses the stand is needed.

Chogokin Charming Drossel

What are your thoughts on this? I really dug the Chogokin Drossel Von whatever her name is ( the first one) and was thinking about this baby, buuuut, I am not so sold on the design of this drossel so much. So am a bit more hesistant. I ahve ordered the figma version, but since I have figma and chogokin of the original, I am slightly tempted to do this with this one, for a matching set:o

What are your thoughts on this? I really dug the Chogokin Drossel Von whatever her name is ( the first one) and was thinking about this baby, buuuut, I am not so sold on the design of this drossel so much. So am a bit more hesistant. I ahve ordered the figma version, but since I have figma and chogokin of the original, I am slightly tempted to do this with this one, for a matching set:o

I love it, however I never got the original Chogokin Drossel (unfortunately didn't have the spare cash for it at the time) so I cant compare the two.
Also I really liked the Charming Drossel design from the start so that may affect my thoughts.
About the only problems I've had with mine are some of the hands pop-off a little to easy and her waist joint doesn't like to hold her leaning forward.

Was a bit apprehensive as it was marked "used, box damaged" but much to my surprise although the box is a little worn on the edges the valk seems brand new - the plastic bands around the wings and fins are there and seems untouched. No marks on the cello tapes holding the plastic shells together either.

Now i haz five YF-21/22s....just need to find another FP pack...

I've bought two figmas from Mandarake and they've both said box damaged but they've only been the slightly creased on the corners, no big deal. I felt the same way as you, it all sounds so negative in the description.

Those NECA Predators are awesome... I have an old Predator from the second movie that I bought about 10 years ago but he fell onto the tile floors and his foot broke off. It's just a pin joint to allow movement in the ankle but I haven't been able to work out how to fix it. I've been contemplating buying a replacement ever since.

This figure represents when Peter got a new costume designed by Tony Stark after a particularly nasty run-in with Morlun*. It has the power to glide short distances, be impervious to some firearms, block out forms of radiation, and grow a set of mechanical Spider legs from its back**.

It depends on what kinda bot you like, the human figures next to them are 1/6 scale if that gives you any idea of the size. 3A release all this stuff in a smaller scale, World War Robot Portable, humans in that scale are 1/12 I believe. I only have one WWRP bot, I'll photo him tomorrow but hes about the height of Voyager prime, give or take a few cms. All the fingers are fully articulated on those bots as well =]

I had a Nugget figure as well but his leg broke off. I don't really collect them but i would like to find a good Nugget to replace him. There is not much you can do with a robot that turns into a rock as a kid (throw it at my brother?).

I had a Nugget figure as well but his leg broke off. I don't really collect them but i would like to find a good Nugget to replace him. There is not much you can do with a robot that turns into a rock as a kid (throw it at my brother?).

I too had a Nuggit figure as a kid, a couple I think actually but yeah - They certainly were quite suited to sibling repelling implements that's fore sure! :D

I congratulate you and all of those like you who have been able to maintain childhood collections/figures in such good condition, especially when you've got siblings who were often the reason why I have next to none from my own childhood; Your mates kids clearly have learnt the very essential lesson of "Respect the property of others", a pity it seems to be a lesson taught very far and few between though these days - It's funny how Collectors' kids often learn it quickly. ;):D

They're called shogun warriors or Machinders. i got a few small ones in a lot once and have been collecting em a bit ever since. i'm not sure if that particular one fires his fist but i'm sure there would be a version that does.
there are tiny versions about 3 inches and jumbos at 23 inches.
Those 2 are my first ones at that size. :) (medium version about 5 inches)

Yeah i think there must have been a show or something (maybe in the 70's). That one is called Dragun. there's heaps of them .
Mazinger, Grendizer , Raiden, Gaiking. I think Gigantor or tetsujin28 was one of them too (but may that have been another show) Some of the rarer ones fetch a mint. The other one in the pic is called Posieden , his legs are on backwards but they are also pictured backwards on Draguns box too. not sure if they were like that in the show or if it was a factory error:confused::)

Tulcas (from what i think, i could be wrong) was made by takatoku toys. I think there were 3 in that series. They made Dorvak Calibre which later became Roadbuster, Gazzette who later became Whirl and Bonapart Tulcas which.... didn't make the cut:( Poor guy... They made pre Jetfire too (and batroids)but i don't think he's part of the same story (again, could be wrong)
That one is the 1/72 scale where as the 1/55's were made into TF's
I do have a 1/55 Tulcas but he's in pretty bad shape. I'll get some pics up of the team together (when i get them,,, finger crossed)

Really? Wow, that's a bit sad. I don't recall seeing any when I was in Japan a few months ago, but then I wasn't looking for them or interested then. I see he is still on HLJ, but they don't list him with his Darin.

Yellow and Pink were web exclusives and so ended up being annoyingly pricey. Silver seems unpopular enough to be less than retail. Shame as he is sexily shinyliscious and despite the apparent dislike for Gai Ikari (that I have heard from nerds on the net. Personally I kind of like him.)as a character, he is needed for the new to Sentai folks (like me) as he helps explain/introduce some of the older/eccentric sentai teams.

And outta the box. All of these were sealed! :D Although Pink and Yellow's boxes were smelling a bit smokey, the toys are fine.

Just waiting on Red and Green now. Really looking forward to Red. How can you pass up a dude named "Captain Marvellous" ????

Lessee, all that is left are Basco (coming in December) and Gokai Silver Gold mode. Who considering how normal Silver is still hanging around I think is unlikely.

Well I guess they all look fairly similar. I am tempted by Jetman ( ?) red. He looks nice. Shame about the Gobusters, the Monkey robot, whose name I like, (something Banana) looks like a Tamashii exclusive. Trawling that site is dangerous though :D

I have been messing with my Gokais and am impressed at how versatile and articulated the figures are! Almost tempted by Kamen riders and maybe tiger/bunny.

Dekaranger and Jetman are both pretty damn popular and so far the not-red guys are exclusives. So... I dunno.

I'd be happy if Stag and Beet were regular releases though. They're the ones I want the most. :D

I've got those effect parts. They come with an Ultra-Act figure as a limited campaign bonus promo thingy. You might be able to buy it on its own, like I did.

Just got this 80's Remco Zybots 10 piece gift set mib..
-tape on the box has dried with age (otherwise misb?)
-each figure is still individually mosc inside the box and the inner tray (holds figures in place in the box window) is present.
