The surrealism art was a concept that had its beginnings during the major world war years. Andre Breton is credited for having founded the famous art concept that soon swept across the art world at that time and continue to do so even today. Surrealism aim is to create a super reality by combining the conscious (both visual and intellectual imagination) with the unconscious (dreams or random chance-like images). We have surrealism still alive and kicking in the works of contemporary artists. Suzi Nassif, a current famous artist in the Middle East, is usually inspired by renowned past surreal artists like Salvador Dali and Frida Kahlo.

She has crated nude-surrealist pieces such as Adam & Apple, Adam & Eve, Starry Dali, the Bull & the Beautiful, Floating on Nirvana, and the Night’s Dream. She also boasts of digital surrealist works in her stable as well. His work usually reflects the subconscious interests and endurances of people who have suffered trauma and cruelties of war. By use of his own experiences, he exhibits the relationship that exists of mental health and the person who is suffering from them.
