Description
Italiano: Accettura è uno dei meravigliosi borghi che ricadono all’interno del Parco di Gallipoli Cognato e delle Piccole Dolomiti Lucane.Completamente circondato dal verde, questo comune della provincia di Matera è scrigno di tradizioni e ricchezze naturali che lo rendono noto anche al di fuori dei confini regionali. Il suo nome Accettura è legato soprattutto al rito “Il Maggio di Accettura”, che coincide con i festeggiamenti in onore del Santo Patrono, San Giuliano. Si tratta di uno dei riti arborei più antichi e caratteristici che ogni anno si ripetono in Basilicata, al punto da coinvolgere attivamente non solo la comunità locale ma anche curiosi, appassionati e studiosi di questi eventi legati alla fertilità della terra e alla vita che si rinnova.
