Osteria Anice Stellato is one osteria that’s located in the far-flung edges of Venice, over in the sestiere of Cannaregio. This is probably why there’s not many tourists that make their way here.

But if you do make that long and winding walk over here, Anice Stellato will make that trip worthwhile.

Risotto di pesce con scampi. A great seafood risotto dish, generous with ingredients and full of flavour from the sea.

Frittura mista di pesce e vedure. This massive platter of fried seafood is something everyone was having, and it’s also one of their signature dishes.

But the long return walk back to the main areas of Venice can be quite very creepy in the dark and dim alleyways.
