VIDDALBA

This destination is perfect to enjoy active tourism, wellness, nature, and archaeology.

With its 1,700 residents, Viddalba is a village that preserves Gallura’s language and traditions. It is located to the south of Badesi, a few minutes from the splendid beaches of the Gulf of Asinara, and is an all-year-round destination for sailing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. In the past, its main resource was agriculture; nowadays, the village is also based on tourism and craftsmanship. In Viddalba, festivals and celebrations are accompanied by traditional rhythms and garments: they provide the chance to taste Gallura-style soup, meat, cheese, and wines.

A few minutes from the sea, the area offers several options for an amazing holiday: wellness, sporting activities, nature, archaeology, traditions, and tasty food.

Horseback riding and trekking lovers will have the chance to travel along fascinating rural paths, visit the so-called ‘stazzi’, and explore the uplands delimiting the area surrounded by Mediterranean scents.
Mount Ruiu and Mount San Gavino are perfect for paragliding and climbing lovers, who can make use of bolted routes.
Viddalba is a destination for sport fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching.
