May 16 may be National Mimosa Day, but at Caffe Luna Rosa, Delray Beach’s award-winning beachside restaurant, it is Mimosa Month all year long with a wide array of delicious, hand-crafted selections.
“While mimosas are typically made from orange juice and champagne, Caffe Luna Rosa offers the perfect mimosa for every taste,” says restaurant partner Bonnie Beer. “Our popular flavors are passion fruit, watermelon, triple berry, original mimosa, Bellini, key lime, tropical, pineapple, blood orange, and more.”
“The best thing about mimosas is that can be enjoyed at any meal, from breakfast to midnight snack, and they are perfect for parties,” she adds.
Mimosa prices are $8.50 for the original and Bellini, and up to $15 each for the specialty drinks.
Caffe Luna Rosa’s popular Wine Dinners returns on October 15 with another four course spectacular paired with appropriate wines, specifically selected by the restaurant, which has received the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine 15 years in a row. The pre-Independence Day Wine Dinner menu includes:
+ 1st Course: Radiatore alla Gorgonzola (fresh house made pasta with sautéed mushrooms, imported gorgonzola cheese and chardonnay crema), paired with Fess Parker’s Frontier Red Blend.
+ 2nd Course: Insalata Tricolore (fresh Belgian endive, radicchio, arugula and orange segments in a light champagne dressing), paired with Decoy by Duckhorn Chardonnay.
+ 3rd Course: Local Grouper Marengo Sole (pan seared with olives, cherry peppers, and San Marzano tomatoes over brown rice), and paired with Decoy by Duckhorn Pinot Noir.
+ 4th Course: House Made Fresh Pumpkin Bread alla Mode (made with fresh pumpkin and served warm with all natural vanilla ice cream), paired with Dorato Passito Piemonte Moscato.
