It came with games but they're not that great and there are titles for it out there. Does anyone have a way to use a different controller or maybe even a keyboard and mouse on this thing? How about burning games for it? I have been googling around and think I located some iso images for it's emulators, not really sure yet. Nathan what model did you get and does it have a digital video cart? the DVC is needed for some games and all movies to play you can make your own VCD movies, or buy some on ebay or gooddealgames has many movies still for sale you can find cdi games to burn in many places around the net. just like most system use decent CDR's no keyboards were made for commercial CD-i systems, but a mouse, trackerball (rollerball mouse type controller), a kids Rollerball controller, and 2 different types of handheld corded controllers there might be more but only 2 were readily available in the US. ive had all the above controllers at one time but i recently sold the mouse and trackerball controllers but if you are serious on buying games to play on the Cd-i you should get the Philips gamepad model number 22ER9021 as seen in the picture. oh there is also a gamegun for the system. i never opened mine and have since sold it off other good sites for info http://cdii.blogspot.com/ http://www.icdia.co.uk/ <--- everything you wanted to know about the CD-i systems but didnt know where to look site Edited November 10, 2008 by Lemmi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Good games are Burn:Cycle The Apprentice Flashback Also has one of the best looking convertions of Space Ace Dragon's Lair and Dragon's Lair II I also have the 2 diffrent controllers as mentioned above. Those controllers are rare as hell here, I would have to special order it after hunting one down for sale at a decent price. I've heard great things about Dragon's Lair on this, and even though the games that I have aren't that great, the graphics really are nice looking. Watched a youtube video about one of the Zelda games and Link has never looked more gay. Still, nice gameplay. I definitely will have to give Alcohol 120% a try, though can't seem to find it for free anywhere. Also having trouble finding disk images that don't need me to pay for anything. I think it will be easier to find a cd-i player with dvc cart installed then a loose dvc cart. You will need it if you want to play dragon's lair. I would say look out for a 450/550 player. I'm not looking to get into collecting for this thing, just get a good playable system together and have some fun with it. Seems a DVC will be what it takes to get there. I'm sure I will run across a broken one somewhere with a cart already in and use that one. Thanks for the tip! Seen 'em all in theater upon initial release, and had homemade VHS tapes for years which I watched a bunch of times (tossed last year). Still have ST I and ST III (signed by Leonard Nimoy) on laserdisk, and a couple of others on DVD. I'll probably never get a complete set of anything since I never pay more than a dollar or two.
