On Monday, Napoli confirmed the acquisition of Elia Caprile from Bari and subsequent loan of the goalkeeper to Empoli.
“SSC Napoli announces that it has definitively acquired the sporting services of Elia Caprile from SSC Bari. The footballer, today, was transferred on loan to Empoli FC until 30 June 2024.”
The purchase price to Bari and the loan fee to Empoli have not been disclosed. Empoli issued a similar statement confirming the loan of Caprile,
“Empoli Football Club announces that it has reached an agreement with SSC Napoli for the temporary acquisition of the sports services of the footballer Elia Caprile.”
Caprile will replace Guglielmo Vicario, who was sold to Tottenham in early July.
