Unofficial ARSO weather app was created as a university project for mobile development. The project was inspired by the already existing (blue) ARSO weather application which can be found under (https://vreme.arso.gov.si/). The existing official ARSO website enables a PWA mobile application or shortcut to be installed on mobile devices. However that solution is quite slow and we wanted to create a faster native experience for android and iOS.

For now we managed to publish the application for Android on the Play store: Link to the app. In the future we also want to publish the app for iOS when we get enought funding.

Forecast data and the icons used in the application were kindly provided by the slovenian national environment agency (Agencija Republike Slovenije Za Okolje, ARSO, https://www.arso.gov.si/).
