Campli is a stunning little town in the north of Abruzzo. Its old centre is studded with architectural gems: churches, palaces, medieval houses. I love the archways of Campli. They survived centuries and earthquakes. Age suits them: time has softened their edges and colours. We walked under the cool archways of the old town hiding from the sun, admiring their weathered elegant curves, crumbling in some places but still beautiful, proudly holding the weight of the ancient building on their shoulders.
Gorgeous arches. Some have steel rods for support. They have such a classy romantic look to them. Love these photos.
Thank you! Campli is stunning and is certainly worth a visit. I am planning a few more posts about the town.
Good! I would like to read more about Campli and you perspective on it.
