About
Greetings, my name is Gabriele and I'm an Italian geology graduate, I got my Master's Degree in October 2023 and I concluded my studies on time.
During my studies I achieved a good knowledge around various geology topics, like geophysics, mining, geotechnics, volcanology and mineralogy, I also learnt how to use software like QGIS, Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), Inkscape and MATLAB, along with some basics on geophysical software like STRATA.
During my studies I embarked on an internship for Jacobs University in Bremen, there I refined my knowledge in QGIS and Inkscape and I was also able to create a topographic map of an area on Mars completely on my own, this has made me further aware of my limits and abilities, along with the chance of learning how to work in an international workplace.
Shortly after my graduation I got a summer job for Boliden, in Sweden, there I have managed to further expand my ability to work in a team, but also how to work as a geologist, both in the field, with sampling campaigns and in the office, through drill core analysis and database.
I really look forward to work for a place that can make me grow professionally, while I aim to be useful for the company, given my good ability to change environments and my adaptability, along with my young age.
