Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentinean artists Mauro Masi and Brian David have made their mark in the organic house underground of late. Their joint discography is highlighted by solo releases via 3rd Avenue, Nordic Voyage, Songuara, The Purr and more, while their occasional partnership has seen the duo work on projects for Equilibrio Records, Nature Rec and Zenebona Records. Now combining their extensive forces for Stellar Fountain, Mauro and Brian unveil their latest joint effort 'Star Mind', alongside a remix from Minnado. The original mix is instantly alluring with it's nature-centric backdrop and poignant musicality. It's sturdy yet exotic groove is wonderfully constructed and in turn does a great job at setting the stage for a show-stealing vocal. Abundantly emotive, it's these breathy phrases which play off heartwarming harmonics and ultimately lead to a glowing finale that is sure to win over all the daytime dancefloors out there. The lone interpretation of 'Star Mind' is provided by Minnado who makes his label debut following releases for Akbal Music, Amulanga, Melody Of the Soul, Shanti Radio and more. Releasing just his second ever remix, the Lithuanian artist strips the framework down for a roomier, less dense version which let's vocal twist and weave it's way through nicely timed overlays and dancefloor minded percussion. Sitting at the heart of the track is a balmy break which let's the vocal take certrestage, before soulful plucks shift the narrative into a tastefully nostalgic finale. A beautiful conclusion to a another sensational collaborative effort from Mauro Masi & Brian David which is not to missed. Highly recommended.
