One of Hallmark’s 2022 premieres, this features a familiar face and a newer to the network star featuring an interesting bond between sisters. Nikki and Nora: Sister Sleuths introduces viewers to new character Nikki Sullivan (Rhiannon Fish). Working in a law firm and successful as an up and comer in her field, Nikki is independent and is happy to be so. Then into her life walks Nora (Hunter King), her flake twin sister. The girls haven’t spoken in years after Nora left when they lost their parents.
Running off to pursue her acting career, Nora is back now to discover why the sister’s are inheriting a business from someone neither one remembers.

Part of the “revamp” on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries network, Nikki and Nora: Sister Sleuths is a title that actually breaks some rules. What I love best about it is part of this being healing a sister bond. I also wouldn’t mind romance because I love a good love story, it’s just that I appreciate a sister relationship being the main story. Hunter and Rhiannon are fun together and their banter cute. Hunter especially is a cute personality who is fun to hang out with.
Because of spoilers, I really cannot say more about the film. It’s just one of those that does a pretty good job for its market and genre. It’s got a good cast and allows for some speculation and curiosity about what the sister’s will ultimately choose to do. While we learn what their plans are, we don’t know what Hallmark’s is. It will be interesting to see what the network does. They may have other plans, I will say, a fun mystery shouldn’t be underrated.
