Christy Chung and Zhang Lunshuo deny marital woe
17 Apr – Christy Chung has denied any marital woe with Zhang Lunshuo, after netizens speculated of such due to her crying at a recent live event.
As reported on Sohu, speculations of a problem between her and the mainland actor sparked when she went live on social media on 15 April, but looked stressed and was teary-eyed while she was eating crayfish.
When fans praised Christy for being beautiful, she responded, "What is the use of beauty". Her assistant then explained that the tears were due to the crayfish being spicy, but netizens seemed to have made up their mind about the incident.
In response to this, Zhang took to social media saying that he doesn't know the reason for Christy crying, and insisted that there was no problem with their marriage.
The Hong Kong actress has also quickly clarified the situation, saying that their marriage is fine. She then stated that people should not put too much pressure on her husband, as they have lived well for the past eight years.
Christy married Zhang, who is 17 years her junior, in November 2016, after the two met on the reality show, "Perhaps Love".
