FORT WORTH, Texas — This weekend, festivalgoers get ready to descend on Panther Island for the Ubbi Dubbi Festival.

If you're one of the many heading out there this weekend, below is a list of things you need to know before you head to the festival.

Schedule

The festival runs April 21 and 22 with shows beginning in the afternoon and running all night. Parking lots open at 2 p.m. Gates open at 3 p.m. and the festival ends at 12 a.m. both nights.

Weather

The festival will take place rain or shine, excluding life-threatening weather. Visit the Spectrum News 1 weather page to get the latest updates.

Parking

Parking lots open at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It is $10 per day and several payment options are available.

Below are accepted payment methods:

  • Cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX)
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay
  • Prepay for Parking using Text 2 Park: Text Panther to 2502, enter vehicle and payment info, show receipt to the parking attendant

You must purchase parking on the day of the event

Here is a link to a parking map. ADA parking is available to those with valid handicap placards, plates and permits, as well as the applicable proof that it belongs to them.

Acceptable/prohibited items

Every attendee will be searched prior to entry, which includes emptying your pockets and bags, a full pat-down, an examination of items brought with you, and potentially removal of your shoes. Police officers work both inside and outside our events with the aid of K9 units. All narcotics laws are strictly enforced. Event staff reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.

The following items are accepted within the festival grounds:

  • Mobile phones, portable chargers, external batteries
  • Handheld camera devices (GoPro, digital phone, point-and-shoot cameras, disposable cameras)
  • Portable battery chargers
  • Selfie sticks
  • Dust and surgical masks
  • Hand Sanitizer (up to 2oz)
  • Wet Wipes (Factory sealed upon entry)
  • Smalls bag, single-compartment bags, plush bags, and purses (Maximum 12″x12″)
  • Fanny packs (Maximum 10″ x 9″)
  • Hats
  • Binoculars
  • Ponchos
  • Earplugs
  • Reusable aluminum water bottles (arrive empty)
  • Clear plastic water bottle (Arrive Empty)
  • Factory sealed single serve plastic water bottle (Limit one per person)
  • Hydration backpacks, Camelbaks, Bota, etc. Bladder must be removable, transparent and subject to inspection
  • Misting fans
  • Glowsticks, flow-wands, batons, or orbs
  • LED gloves or LED microlights.
  • Orbits, flowlights, poi, or pixel whips
  • Hula hoops (Including LED)
  • Glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry
  • Sunglasses, kaleidoscope glasses, and goggles
  • Lip liner, lip gloss, lipstick, sealed chapstick.
  • Dry makeup (no liquid makeup)

  • Unsealed over the counter medications or vitamins

  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Massagers
  • Laser Pointers
  • Pacifiers
  • Gas masks
  • Glass, cans, cups, or coolers
  • Open containers
  • Helium balloons
  • Markers, pens, or spray paint
  • Large chains or spiked jewelry
  • Stuffed animals or dolls
  • Stickers or flyers or promotional signage
  • Inflated toys, balls, balloons (must arrive un-inflated)
  • Sports equipment
  • Tents, umbrellas, hammocks, or chairs
  • Camping gear
  • Soap, shampoo, conditioner, or other detergents
  • Hydration backpacks that contain non-removable and/or opaque bladders, which impede inspection of contents
  • Backpacks, purses, or bags larger than 12″ x 12″
  • Multi-pocket bags
  • Luggage
  • Unsealed cigarette packs
  • Pre-pilled refillable vape devices (Chambers must arrive empty)
  • Unsealed tampons
  • Liquid makeup
  • Unsealed or aerosol sunscreen
  • Outside food, beverages, or candy
  • Musical instruments (Including Whistles, etc)
  • Tactical gear
  • Costumes that resemble public safety uniforms (police, SWAT, fire, security, or medical)
  • Walkie talkies
  • Professional-grade tripods, monopods, go-pro sticks
  • Fireworks, flammable products, projectiles, or explosives
  • Chinese lanterns
  • Weapons of any kind (including pocket knives, pepper spray)
  • Professional recording equipment—photo, video, or audio (including detachable lenses, tripods, Big Zooms)
  • Vending without permit
  • Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
  • Bicycles, scooters, go carts, skate boards, hoverboards, or ATVs.
  • Open fires or grills
  • Generators
  • Pets (Unless it’s a service animal)
  • Items deemed as posing a threat to the safe enjoyment of the concert by management

Lost & Found

Lost and found is located just inside the entrance to the festival from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. After 11:30 p.m., Lost & Found can be found at the Ticket Help tent just outside the festival entrance until 12:30 a.m.

On Day 2 of the festival, starting at 2 p.m., all IDs collected from Day 1 are stored at the festival box office outside the event.

All other items (aside from IDs) will be at the Lost & Found location just inside the entrance to the festival until 11:30 p.m.. At 11:30 p.m., patrons can retrieve Lost & Found items at the Ticket Help tent just outside the festival entrance.

On Monday, April 24, the Lost & Found is at The Shack from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. After April 24, please get in touch with lostandfound@ubbidubbifestival.com to inquire about your lost items up to Tuesday, May 9.
