Baby Mice wine originated from China and gradually became popular in Korea and other Asian countries. Traditionally, Baby Mice wine was used as a magical potion for treating health issues. As per the theories of ancient medicines, Baby Mice wine was popularly used as a medicine and it was believed that it could cure any ailment. In fact, it is believed that Baby Mice wine can treat everything from liver ailments to asthma. However, a lot of research is needed to establish the age-old beliefs about this wine, but the mere thought of gulping down a dead baby mice drink is not just scary, but it is disgusting too!

Baby Mice wine is prepared using rice wine and 3 day old baby mice. The mice-infused wine is made by drowning small alive baby mice in a large bottle and the rice wine is poured over it, and it is left to brew for at least 12-14 months. After the brewing process the drink is safe to consume.

To make the wine, it is essential to gather healthy and alive mice, else the addition of mice may contaminate the wine. The taste of the wine might not be that delightful, some say that the drink tastes like gasoline.
