🎮🎨 Our 5-week journey with the Let's Make Games group has come to an end! 🚀 It's been an incredible mix of talent, enthusiasm, and creativity with both boys and girls diving into GameMaker and Procreate. 🌟 We've had an absolute blast witnessing their skills grow! The final week is always extra special as we invite families to join in for the last 30 minutes. 🎉 It's a chance for them to experience first-hand the amazing games their kids have created, complete with presentations and playthroughs! Plus, everyone leaves with some awesome certificates to commemorate their hard work and dedication! Well could someone tell me how we're now at the beginning of April! It's been a busy few months Young Social Innovators with our Speak Out Tour crisscrossing Ireland with over 3,000 young people taking part, launching our new Youth Pace online platform and just to top it all off we've been awarded @SEUPB Peace Plus funds to deliver our amazing Ignite Community programme with our partners Arts Care, Donegal Youth Service, KIPPIE C.I.C. and Horn of Africa People's Aid Northern Ireland(HAPANI) Not forgetting support from Raspberry Pi Foundation and looking forward to working with them through CoderDojo. So, it's all go Young Social Innovators and did I mention I'm taking on a 400KM ultra marathon over 8 days in May - there have been too many early (very early) morning runs. I blame @alan_elwood for this crazy idea.
