In this previously unreleased telephone call recording from 2012 Mary Ellen Mark speaks about her Prom project, Twins project, lighting, the state of editorial commissioning, working with large format cameras, collaboration and exhibiting work. The conversation is with United Nations of Photography founder and editor Grant Scott. The conversation took place at the time of her completing the Prom project and it’s appearance in book form with an accompanying DVD created by her husband and filmmaker Martin Bell.
