Mac Performa 6214CD

I’ve had this Performa around for 5 years or so. It was one of the early Vintage Macs I bought and started playing. I have multiple SCSI drives attached. External CD300 and CD600 cd-roms (on occasion). Plus a connection to my Apple Newton 120 (separate blog entries on the Newton).

Here it is connected to 2 external SCSI drives, a LCD VGA Monitor and a Stylewriter 1200 printer (not shown). There are other blog entries for the Stylewriter printer.

Fully booted. Three hard drives. Lots of Application shortcuts. VGA LCD.
Two of four SCSI Drives connected and running. See their green lights. Far left and far right.
In the more current pictures (like this one) I’m using the Kaleidoscope control Panel to emulate a NeXT desktop.
Listing on one SCSI.
Listing on 2nd SCSI.

I did not take a picture of boot scsi drive file listing.

Much earlier picture with 2 MacAddict CD-Roms on desktop. One internal cd-rom, one external cd-rom. And of course, the 3.5” floppy drive.
Running lots of accessories.
Here is the generic image of the Performa 6214CD.
