Review of Pizza Vegetale (Veganized) at L'Osteria del Geco by danielgl
This vegetable #pizza was easy to veganize, the staff were happy to oblige by eliminating the cheese (too bad no vegan cheese option was available!). This generously sized beauty was more than enough for one person, and chock full of veg which is sourced on the island as stated in their menu. The tomato sauce was fresh and obviously made in-house, and it was topped with #artichoke, #onion, #eggplant, #spinach, #redpepper, #mushrooms and #blackolives. And the crust, yummy and carbonized just right with a chewy inside. A great deal for 10€.
This charming Italian eatery is right on the seaside promenade, offering beautiful views over the water. We were there just in time to see the reflection of the sunset in the eastern sky!
