The Leopard Gecko belongs to the Gekkonidae family and like all its subfamily, it has mobile eyelids, a large and well-defined head, a robust body and tail and short legs with 5 fingers per limb. The babies at birth weigh 2.5 - 3 gr while as adults they can reach over 100 gr. The size of a 3 - 4 month baby is about 10 cm, while after a month it can also increase by 2 cm. It is a strictly carnivorous reptile and feeds on insects , larvae , arachnids and other invertebrates .
