102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue is a 3-D adventure in which you play as either Oddball or Domino and rescue puppies from Cruella De Vil. Other characters from Disney's 102 Dalmatians movie include Dipstick, Dottie, LePelt, Waddlesworth, and Fluffy. There are 20 levels and six minigames that are set in environments like Big Ben, Regent's Park, Piccadilly Circus, the Ice Festival, and De Vil Manor. Players will solve puzzles, perform tricks, and lure Cruella's henchmen--Horace and Jasper--into secret traps. The game stars Frankie Muniz as the voice of Domino.

I originally played this one on PC and loved it so much that when I no longer had a computer to play it on, I bought a PlayStation and the PlayStation version of the game just to be able to play it again. I recently repurchased a copy of both versions of the game for my permanent collection. Usually, games based off movies aren’t very good, but this one was different. It had an original storyline with fun, open world levels, fun boss fights against Cruella and several unlockable mini games, plus some collecting as stickers were awarded for different things in the levels and I always had fun completing the sticker book, though with each being awarded to complete a picture in the end I do sometimes wonder why stickers were given and not puzzle pieces as it was like completing a puzzle. The game wasn’t super hard, but had some challenge to it so as a more casual type gamer who loved adventure games with good storylines, this was perfect.

My brother, his friends, my dad and I used to play the 'mini-golf' mini game for hours. We played it so much that the disc was too scratched to use anymore and recently began to miss it. The new prices were ridiculously high so when buying it at this price I was very satisfied. Great condition, great price, brought back memories and fun for the guys. Yay c:

Great game and I ordered it for nostalgia. As a kid it was my favorite game, and although simple it holds up pretty decently for a PS1 Disney game. My copy came in overall decent condition, plays alright after one cleaning of the disc and in case with original booklet. Seller was very courteous and provided great service, and product arrived at the time it was expected.

I had this game when I was a kid, but one day I gave it away an regretted it ever scene. It is an action platformer. Very much like a 3D Mario, or 3D Sonic game. It is a great game that is perfect for kids. The difficulty of the game is great. It is never too hard, but never too easy. I am 19 years old and I could still play the game and have fun. Over all it is a great game to add to your PS1 collection, and I would recommend it to any one.

After seeing this in a list of good games for littler kids, and reading some of the other reviews, I decided to get this for my 3-year old son, who has only played some of his dad's car racing games up till now. My son was very excited to receive it, and insisted on playing it immediately. After a couple of minutes, he had mastered the gist of the game and the controls seemed logical. Basically, the object of the main game (there are several mini-games included as well) is to rescue your fellow puppy siblings that have been trapped in crates. You have to destroy attacking robotic toys by barking at them, and you have to roll into the crates to smash them and rescue the puppies. A little rough, but all seemed well, and I left the room for a couple of minutes, only to rush back in when I heard my son yelling tearfully that I had to turn the game off. Apparently, Cruella De Ville's sidekick appears in the game and chases after you with a net. You can't always see him as you run madly away, but sometimes you just see his feet in the foreground as he chases after you, or you round a corner and he starts lurching towards you, swinging the net. The graphics were even a little creepy to me--like one of those slow motion bad dreams where you run from some THING. I have no idea how to get rid of him, because my son was so scared by this that I was not allowed to try--I had to not only turn off the game, but I had to take the disc out of the Playstation, too. When he was finally ready to give the game another try the next day, he would only play the mini-games (there's a mini-golf game and there's a memory-type game where the dog has to dig into piles of dirt to find matching objects). There are actually several other mini-games, but they were not accessible, and I suspect you have to get to certain levels in the main game before you are permitted access (a reward system, I guess). While I think older kids (5 or 6) might get a kick out of the game, the "bad guy" may be too scary for some of the more inexperienced 3 and 4 year olds who have not always encountered these concepts before. On the other hand, my husband loves the game, so families with slightly older kids could probably play this together.
