I bought this game because none of the other FIFA games had my country in them. This was fun and great quality. I love it and would definitely highly recommend it as it was an amazing soccer game! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me in the comments section :)

This game is ridiculous. At first I thought it was the best game ever. Now--no not so much. The fact that Ive played it all summer and cant get Brazil even to the Final game on "professional (medium)" level is absurd. The computer renders your controls futile in the last few minutes of each half--most the time scoring with just seconds left. Literally dribbling through your players. Opponent Head balls at midfield prove they have superstretch necks. You'll see opponents defy physics with a lot of their play. The refereeing is ludicrous. The computer can pretty much do whatever it wants to you without any calls --where you are sited for even stripping the ball away. All and all stupid, waste of time. Oh and if you dont like the settings--you can only do so much. Im sure the programmers are still laughing.

For all true lovers of the game please stay away from this game, its is a total insult to the world of gaming. I play the game in single player mode and what i have found out just like in every EA sports soccer game the programmers have no idea how to simulate a tough match so they end up rigging matches all the time just to make sure you cant win. It's is not always about winning but about enjoying the match and gameplay even when you lose but you only win when the programmers want you to, no matter how well you play with whatever team you choose. they have subtle ways if making sure of that and they think we are too stupid to notice, well just so you EA programmers know, it is extremely frustrating to play your rigged game in single player mode and if you doubt it then answer the following questions-

1 Why do my players run in a zigzag fashion towards a 50/50 ball as opposed to running straight, that way they never win the ball.
2 why do my players all of a sudden make ridiculous passes to opponents when i clearly did not do that with the controls.
3 why does the referee make bizare calls against me all the time even just for winning the ball in a dangerous position.
4 why do my players passes the ball to a player with the lest chance to score when am clearly directing the pass to a different player that would have scored.
5 sometimes my players just pass the ball to touch or a completely different direction from where am intending.
6 sometimes the controls just freeze up and would not respond at all in a dangerous situation
7 why do my passes run with a pass instead of toward it when they have a clear scoring chance
8 why do my players hesitate before moving with the ball after they receive a through pass and sometimes when they are selected in defence they first tend to move in the opposite direction of play before engaging so the opponents can get a head start toward goal.
9 why do my players just let an opposition pass roll right past them instead of intercepting it.
10 during a free kick why will my wall jump not work when the programme decides it should be goal even when i press the right key.
11 why will a five star team like brazil always loose to a 3 star team like honduras in the round of sixteen in legendary mode because the programme so decides regardless of how well one plays.
12 Why are goalies just so efficient that they would stop a point blank shot from inside the 18yard box no matter how powerful it is.

These are just a few tricks they use in rigging the so called tough matches which makes the fifa worldcup game just a game of fancy kicks and bright colours but with bullcrap gameplay.
I have not played the pes 10 game but judging from what i have seen with fifa no other game can be as bad and frustrating as this one. Don't waste your money on this.

Bought this game for my son-in-law who is an avid soccer fan. He plays it all the time and never gets tires of it. For all the details as to what makes this different from other soccer games, you'll have to ask someone who actually plays them. Seeing that this is an older game now, I know the graphics are better and play controls are different.

The graphics are great. Better referees than Fifa 10 in terms of too frequent foul calls. More realistic player movements. Great atmosphere that brings excitement of the World Cup. If you enjoy playing 1-on-1 (Head to Head) matches, then this game will be very fun for you.

If you are a user that plays team play or club modes most of the time (like myself), then this will be a HUGE disappointment for you since there are no such modes in this game.
