I live in New Zealand and couldn't find the Despicable Me PS2 game over here. So I thought I'd get clever and order one from Amazon to surprise my son. I didn't look close enough at the graphic to see it was a NTSC version. We can only run PAL versions on our PS2. No fault to Amazon, in fact their quick service and follow up was great. Just a pity for me and my son. I will just have to be more careful choosing next time.Despicable Me: The Game
this game is too hard and not fun it micro manages the player during the tutorial without hints the puzzles are fustrating this game is e for every one do not buy this garbage it belongs in the dumpster doing the same thing over and over is not fun its proably even worse on the wii since the remotes do not work
After seeing the movie over and over with my daughters, my wife had to play this game. She was disappointed from the very beginning. Even playing the game with the training and assistance features, she couldn't figure out very easy things early on during the game. The fun of the game is lost when trying to figure out how to get to the next portion of the first level with varying levels of success.
The movie is great, the game is just a money maker.
I'm always looking for video games that my 3 and 5 year old boys can play. This game isn't it. It's a cute game, but some areas are too hard for me. One good thing about it though is after a few times if you fail at a section, the game asks if you want to skip it. But it is hard. I think it's better for 7 and up.
