When i ordered the game, I thought it was a wii game i was ordering. when it came it i was not, we don't own a psp system and i have emailed the guy selling it on 2 occasions. and got no response. I would have been happy to trade him back for a wii game or get another wii game, but when i got no response at all i have since sold it on my own for a loss. The game came perfect, it was on time, it was everything exept the right game system... my opionion the guy didn't have a wii to trade me for, so he just didn't respond. I'm so sorry people out there have to sell stuff like this, and not respond it make's you leary of purchasing anything through amazon.

I would just like to say that I liked this game! it is a bit hard sometimes for my 7 yr old son but I think it is a great mind game helps them understand things about how you must complete a task to get to the goal

2010年に公開されたDESPICABLE ME（邦題：怪盗グルーの月泥棒）と一緒にリリースされたビデオゲーム、『DESPICABLE ME: THE GAME』のPSP版。
本作は近年スピンオフ作品である『MINIONS』の公開もあり、すっかり主役を差し置いて前に出てしまっている感のあるミニオン（たち）・・・ではなく本編と同じく主人公であるGru（以下、グルー）を操作するアクションゲームとなっている。

障害物をかわしながらゴールを目指すアクション性のあるステージとミニオンたちを駆使して部屋を脱出するパズルゲーム的なステージ、そして時折挿入される（かなりもっさりした動きの）3Dシューティングステージを行き来して月に行くためのロケットの部品を盗むのが本作の目的。
また、グルーは当然として、劇中で活躍したDr. NefarioやVectorなども登場し概要を説明したりブツブツ独り言をしゃべったりする（笑）ミニオンも時々しゃべるけどこれは本編で演じた監督の声ではなさそう。ゲーム中は劇中の音楽も使われ、全体的な雰囲気もうまく劇中の様子を反映しているなと感じた。

ただ日本仕様のローカライズはされていないため、彼らがいろいろと話している内容が判りづらいのが残念だ。一応、字幕は表示できるがもちろん日本語は無いため単語を拾うなど多少の手助けにしかならないだろう。

そして何よりもネックだったのがビデオゲームとして発売するにはボリューム不足である点。
大きく分けて3つのエリアにそれぞれ3～4ステージほどしかなく、意外にあっさり終わってしまう。謎解きが判らず詰まってしまったりアクションが難しくて何度か躓くことはあってもそれぞれ救済措置はあるし、全体的に見てもよくある洋ゲーのように高すぎる難易度なんてことはないのでクリアはさほど難しくないだろう。
やり込み要素もあるにはあるが、相当駆け足にならない限り一周するまでに大半は埋まってしまうし、集めるマテリアルも決して多くはないので何周も遊ぶほどのゲームでは無かったかなというのが個人的な感想だ。
また、1作目の映画と同時期の発売だし、あくまでグルーが主役なので仕方の無いことなのかもしれないが、ミニオンのかわいさや独特なキャラクター性もまだまだ活かし切れていない印象があり（常に真顔だったり等）、決してダメではないが全体的に見るとやはり今ひとつの出来になってしまっている。作品のファンとしてなんだかもったいないと感じてしまった。

これ以降のDESPICABLE ME関連のゲームはモバイル用のゲームアプリが2種類配信されており、どちらもミニオンが主な登場人物となっている。課金コンテンツの価格設定が強気ではあるが、無課金でもかなり遊べるし両者共に比較的高いクオリティを備えているので、ミニオンのかわいさを堪能したい方はそちらを遊んだ方が得策だろう。
