In Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2 you are the vampire Kain, the most evil figure ever to appear in a video game. You will move through crowds unseen cloaked in stealth, travel stories above the peasant herds on which you feed, leaping from roof-top to roof-top, and use mind-control to overcome vampire-proof inventions. The combat choreography unfolds with dance-like precision as Kain engages armies of demons and humans alike. The comprehensive menu of unstoppable attacks, nimble combos and special moves are designed to appeal to even the most jaded of fighting game fans. The world that Kain moves through is a lushly detailed gothic environment that is not only gorgeous to the eye, but also alive with the soon-to-be dead. The AI behavioural response makes peasants and enemies variously flee, take up arms or remain unaware as Kain moves through crowds or charges, sword raised, into open areas.

In Blood Omen 2 you play as Kain, the vampire tyrant. Resurrected after 200 years, you awaken to find the city of Nosgoth ruled by the Sarafan Order--a group of vampire hunters you defeated long ago. With your armies slain, your castle in ruions and your wealth stolen, you're in pursuit of blood, conquests and vengeance. To reclaim your kingdom you must uncover the plot that threatens the land you seek to conquer. You start the game with two supernatural abilities, or Dark Gifts, Mist (which shrouds you from your enemies) and Fury (a manic combat attack). Additional Dark Gifts such as Charm (mind control) and Super-Jump must be acquired from your most deadly enemies to aid you in your deathly challenges. You also have a multitude of weapons at your disposal, each with their own gruesome finishing move. After each brutal attack you must draw strength by draining your enemies of their blood. With a focus on combat and stealth, this mission-based action game boasts an advance artificial intelligence system that determines how the characters in the game react to Kain. The inhabitants of Nosgoth respond according to how Kain interacts with them, and how he's behaved up to that point in the game--if he mindlessly attacks people this will attract unwanted attention, but the more stealthily he moves through the shadows the longer it will take for people to realise he's a vampire... The game's strong characters and storyline drive players through its massive, detailed 3-D environments.

I remember playing this game when I was younger so it was great to get my hands on a copy and for a great price as well.
In this game you don't play as Kain but as his brother, it's easy to follow and really fun once you get into it, I have lost many hours playing this game. Would recommend to all my friends and family if they like RPG/Action games.
