Works great as as a memory card, but more importantly (since I already have a few) it adds a little spruce to the dreamcast (along with a blue controller and a custom smoke console shell). Now it doesn't look so out of date in my entertainment center.

Let me put it this way. If you have a Sega Dreamcast, there is a great chance that you will need a memory card. Also this black memory card looks way better in person and I just love mine.

One more thing, for most games you will be able to play mini games on it. However, the battery life isn't as great as expected and will only last you a few hours. Even with dead batteries, it still works when it is in the Dreamcast Controller.

This is a good product because it not only saves things, you can edit them and use it for other things. But, it only holds a little amount of memory(not too little). I think it is too expensive because if you want to save another thing in a game like NFL2K1, you must pay [more $]. But this is much better than the Nyko one even though Nyko has more memory space! Nyko is way too confusing and dosn't always work. Just buy stuff from Sega because we know it is a good company.

So I will try to buy another black VMU in the future, but to avoid once more possibles misunderstandings no longer with that distributors.

I wrote a review about one of these before and that was the crystal green VMU, so there's nothing really to say that I haven't already said now. This is my 3rd different colored VMU, the other ones are the normal white one and the one I said above. All I can say about this one is that the crystal black looks nice, but all of the crystal ones look good, so there isn't going to be favourite. Like I said above, this is my 3rd VMU, so I'll need more of these, if I'm going to continue buying DC games.
