Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The game just didn't work, it's not dirty or scratched it just glitches and stops. I've tried resetting it over and over and that's what it keeps doing. I know it's not the system because my other games work fine. I contacted the seller and he did not believe me, that it was his game, figures. 😒
Street Fighter Alpha 2 for the good ol' Sega Saturn has to be one of the best 2-D fighters ever, EVER!!!! When it comes to 2-D fighters Capcom is the king and will rule forever. A few other 2-D fighters I have from the good folks at Capcom are: Darkstalkers, X-Men: Children of the Atom, and Marvel Super Heroes. All great games in their own right I may add! But lets get down to brass tacks shall we! First off I need to address what our one star reviewing friend commented on earlier. It's really a shame he received a cracked copy of the game, and I hope he will be taken care of. But come on guy, don't blame the game for the one star, it was the shippers fault not Sega's. ( Okay, I'll get off the soap box now. ) SFA2 is a arcade fighting masterpiece that was ported over to the SS in 1996, and boy-howdies is it ever a perfect port! ( That's what the SS did best! ) The strange thing is I love 2-D fighting games, but at the same time I really suck at them! But does that stop me from playing and loving them? I think not! I loved SF2T on my Sega Genesis, and SFA2 simply is a fun game to play. I'm able to play this version better than the original because of the new Custom Combo system. It replaced the Chain Combos ( Aaarrugghh! ) With the new Custom Combo System all you have to do is push two punch buttons and a kick simultaneously ( or vica-versa ) to perform the special moves, unless the timer runs out. ( that always sucks! ) So for me, the special moves are much easier to perform. ( I'm old ) So now when I play against one of my younger friends, I stand a much better chance of not having to hide my head in shame after we play. The Music was composed by the Japanese dream team of: Setsuo Yamamoto, Shun Nishigaki, and Tatsiro Suzuki. The music is great, the sound F/X are top notch also, and the colors and graphics are tight and crisp. The SS port of SFA2 offers the classic Chun-Li, Evil Ryu, and Dhalsim to battle with, ( The PS1 can't boast that! ) and with a secret code you can unlock Shin Akuma. ( just go online ) Street Fighter Alpha 2 for the Sega Saturn will take you back to old school fighting heaven, and you can take that to the bank. " Happy Arcade Fighting! "

Despite the description claiming that it was cleaned and guaranteed to work, the disk was neither clean nor did it work. Probably didn't work because of the massive crack on it. I'll be sure to never order anything from these liars again.

Platform For Display: Sega Saturn
This is where Capcom hit the pinnacle of fighting games. Street fighter Alpha 3 is okay and has a few more character, but Alpha 2 is when everything was executed just right. with the saturn controller the gameplay was just great. with the saturn being the superior 2d machine, this version easily crushed the playstation version. you won't be disappointed with this game.again if you are looking for a game to add to your saturn collection this is one that should be on any saturn owner's collection.
