Although, it is NO replacement for a strong phonetic based reading program, it is helpful and fun. Cartridges are small, be sure to invest in a good storage bag for your v-reader with pockets for the tiny cartridges to keep them safe and available for your children.

My daughter was receiving a vtech vreader last year for Christmas. We gave all other family members the v.reader books for ideas.

The vtech broke....I exchanged it....it broke again shortly there after. The warranty at the store was then expired so I had to go through vtech themselves.

The first call I made said they would send me a new "chip" for it. ? It never came (I forgot all about it) Until I received a call from them saying they did not have any more chips but would send me a shipping code. The shipping code expired before I had a chance to get it all together. By this point so much time had gone by since she first received the item. I have tried to contact them multiple times since with no response.

Anyone I have shared this with shakes their head and says to never buy anything by vtech. Little did I know.
