I saw the sky of Turin, for the first time, on April 21, 1974, the city where I stayed and reached 18 years.
My family then decided to move to the province of Ferrara, in a town, Lagosanto, halfway between the sea and the capital. I received a strict but extremely affectionate education from an Emilian father and a Sardinian mother.
During my childhood I was very shy and introverted. I loved the rain and hated the sun. However, there was a world of fantasies going around in my mind, dreams and beauty that I began to draw and which, over time, have turned into painting. However, it was a practice I was ashamed of, an externalization that I kept hidden.
During my youth I attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna but, unfortunately, my young and wild soul did not let me finish it. I am what is called self-taught. The soul took possession of the hand and created.
I have two wonderful children and, after their birth, with fear, I started the show of myself, although in small doses.
I participated in various collective exhibitions until I reached the Museum of the Risorgimento in Ferrara, the place where I live now. The theme of "The Great War" also leads me to exhibit in Asiago. Here I get a recognition, I am mentioned in a journalistic article, I make the cover of "War Book".
Today I have produced over one hundred paintings, some already sold, others waiting, others still immovable because they are too much mine.
The colors, the shapes, the shadows and the lights continue to join in my mind in always disparate spaces.
When the body ceases to exist, my soul will travel through time.
