Enjoying the consistent harmonious balance across different vintages which perfectly express our blending philosophy.

Since the mythical times of Roman Gods, Italian culture is anchored to the sky. Constellations have been driving humans announcing the future, helping the sailors out on the sea or the farmers inland to make key agricultural decisions. “Astrale” is for us a powerful blend of history and myth, a connection to the distant past when daily life was dependent on the worship of Gods, Stars and Emperors.

Winemaker

Peppe Randazzo

Peppe and our winemaking team travelled across the different Italian wine regions to meet with local farmers and understand the different traditional winemaking approaches to applying them back on a bigger scale, to deliver consistently high-quality wines. A blend of different iconic Italian grapes sourced from some of the top wine regions of Italy across the best vintages.

Winemaking

A modern and precise winemaking approach, to preserve the intensity of the aromas, which is applied to different techniques which are fine-tuned to express the full potential of the different grapes. Opulent on the palate thanks to the partially dried Primitivo grapes. Complexity and length coming from a careful use of different oaks.

Tasting Notes

The nose unravels fruity aromas of forest fruit and dried plums together with black pepper and coffee. Round, warm and full body supported by velvety tannins, bringing together different layers of flavours.
