Today we have two ‘bacari’ with the same outside sign. The above mentioned ‘bacaro ‘ is the first one and thanks to its success, now there has been opened another one in ‘calle san Pantalon’.
Here you can find an great variety of bottled wine and tasty ‘chicchetti’ in a modern enviroment but with some touch of old style.
We can find delicious meatballs and fishballs ( you should try the fishballs of seabass or sea bream)or you can order skewers of salmom with robiola cheese or codfish in butter , or stuffed or fried, ‘ sarde in saor’ or smoked herrings with a slice of ‘ polenta’ and many other special dishes like meatballs with carrotts, pork and pumpkin.
Beside the wine written on the blackboard you can also aks for the ‘ ombra ‘ of the house ( glass of wine) that is normally in a bottle and it is is very tasty.
This tavern offers also some aperitiv for the young people and beside the most traditional one, like spritz, it offers also a speciality called’ Cinico’, a mix of liquorice, cinnamon and prosecco wine.
