We are an Italian-English couple. We live on the first floor of the house with our little girl, Alba. After the first lockdown in a small flat in Rome we decided it was time for a change, so we moved from the city to the countryside and spent the last year renovating our house. Daniele is a cook. You can eat typical Roman or Sabine dishes at our place, or take a course to make bread and pizza.

Stimigliano is a small medieval village in Sabina. It is a typical sleepy Italian village: it has a post office, a pharmacy, a couple of village shops, a park, two bars and an ice cream parlour. A few steps away there is an excellent restaurant (Da Lina) and at the bottom of the hill, there is a train station with regular trains to Rome (one hour to the centre) and to Orte (Umbria). If you want nothing more than to relax and enjoy the view, you will find everything you need here. Otherwise, if you have a car, it is a very strategic location - there are plenty of wonderful places to visit within an hour's drive. The Sabina is a hidden gem - still untouched by the trappings of tourism, here you will find one hilltop village after another, each with its own charm and peculiarities. In the warmer months there are lakes, rivers and outdoor pools. We loved discovering this area and look forward to giving our guests the chance to fall in love with it too!
