The residence is a corner of exclusive paradise, surrounded by greenery and the beautiful nature of the Tuscan Casentino. Surrounded by rolling hills, this picturesque villa skirts a quiet wooded area where the clear waters of the Bonano torrent flow, lying on pebbles that shine kissed by the rays of the sun. Built on the pillars of an ancient hydraulic factory dated back to the 16th century under the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, known in the valley with the name 'La Ferriera', in the basement below, the villa still has intact the premises of the workshop, where all the instruments are fully functional and are still operated by the energy of the water of the Bonano stream. The exposed stone facade of the house exudes ancient charm, while the interior combines a mix of modern details with comfortable furnishings that create an ambience of great hospitality. The ceilings with wooden beams contribute to create an atmosphere of the past. The French doors lead to the outside where a walkway of rock slabs winds through the well-kept lawn. Staying true to the Tuscan landscape, olive groves and bushes of fragrant flowers dot the property.
Susanna is pleased to welcome you in the splendid scenery of the Tuscan Casentino with n. 2 apartments in the dreamy Villa. Every apartment is independent and provided of private kithchen. The use of the kitchen is foreseen. In the evening, the garden comes alive with lights that create a meditation atmosphere after having dinner and with a glass of red wine in hand. Walking outside the Ferriera you can enjoy the well-kept garden, ideal for relaxing, or alternatively, you can spend an afternoon, venturing to discover the path that winds along the Bonano stream, inside the property of 9 hectares made up of woodland and olive grove. Breathing the quiet and the magic of this atmosphere does not allow distractions, which is why La Ferriera in its uniqueness is not the ideal environment to welcome children or four-legged friends.
The entire structure is spread over 2 floors perfectly divided between living and sleeping areas and is surrounded by a wonderful fully fenced garden complete with a barbecue for outdoor grill, which can be used both during winter and summer. An entrance from which you can reach all the rooms on the ground floor opens the doors of the Villa: a first bathroom, a completely new and fully equipped kitchen, a wonderful and bright living room with dining room and fireplace corner. The veranda allows direct access to the garden where a magnificent terrace overlooks the stream directly. It is suggestive to have lunch, during the day, in the shade of an ancient walnut tree and in the evening, in the light of lanterns, accompanied by the sweet murmur of the spring water. Going up to the upper terrace you will discover the heated swimming pool, set in a scenario that evokes strong emotions.
