The company, inaugurated in Tuscany, has since expanded to include other Italian and European destinations. Villa San Pietro is an 18th century Tuscan stone house that is surrounded by olive trees, with lovely views across the valley below. Nestled into a secluded and quiet location, you are fully immersed in nature with trails and paths that are lovely for taking walks in the fresh air, all the while being located just 5 km from the hill town of Cortona. Having been recently renovated, this stunning property provides all new amenities that you might need for a comfortable stay. The 5-bedroom / 5-bathroom villa is spread over two floors and an annex, and can host up to 10 guests total. The ground floor includes a fully equipped modern kitchen and separate dining room, a large sitting room as well as one of the double bedrooms with bathroom. On the first floor there are three additional double bedrooms (one can be a twin) all with ensuite bathrooms. Outside the main house, there is a separate annex with another double bedroom and bathroom. In the large garden, there is a swimming pool where you can cool off from the Tuscan sun, or lounge and enjoy good company on the terrace, all of which are illuminated at night. Cortona is a small charming town,in the province of Arezzo in southern Tuscany and is the main cultural and artistic center of the Val di Chiana. The city, enclosed by Etruscan stone walls, sits on the top of a hill about 600 meters above sea level that embraces a view of the whole Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno.The heart of Cortona is Piazza della Repubblica, with Palazzo Comunale overlooking the square, from which originates the main street, named via Nazionale, the only flat street in town, also knows as Ruga Piana among the locals.The town offers many interesting places to visit, such as the Diocesan Museum where you can admire Beato Angelico's painting, and Museo dell'Accademia Etrusca, displaying items from Etruscan, Roman, and Egyptian civilizations, as well as art and artefacts from the Medieval and Renaissance eras.You should not miss a visit to the beautiful Santa Margherita Sanctuary, patron of the town, to the Girifalco Fortress and to the Franciscan hermitage Le Celle, the first monastery built by Saint Francis of Assisi in 1211.
