    Nose: medium intensity, green/black olives, perfume, smoky, cherries, plump, menthol, raisins
    Palate: bitter, smoky, meaty, black olives/green olives, pepper, plump, cherries, good follow through, too fruity, weight medium, intensity medium, complexity low, aftertaste low

    October 26, 2010 - Dark red brownis colour, with rosé edges. Some sediment in the glass.
    Clean condition on the nose, medium intensity, aromas of red fruit and a bit spice.
    The entry is dry, the acidity is low and tanning medium-.
    Flavours of black raspberry, plubs, jammy, redfruit, spice.
    There is some residual sugar left.
    Alcohol 13%
    Nicely balanced, tannins are good integrated.
    Medium- complexity.
    Medium aftertaste.

    Fruit driven syrah, typical Australian.
    Commercial wine, average quality

    April 22, 2010 - Fairly standard nose on this with an unusual root beer note on the palate. It's almost like they wanted to keep some residual sugar in this. Otherwise it's not all that bad. The 13.5% alcohol seems low for how it tastes...
