The project envisages the redevelopment of the station forecourt, with provision for new pedestrian entrance and access systems and new distribution of station services. The construction of a new pedestrian plaza, with paving in continuity with the material used for the current outdoor areas; the design of the outdoor area to serve the new areas with a future commercial function, with the insertion of new paving and bicycle parking spaces; the redevelopment of the façades of the Passenger Building, new lighting for the shelters on the forecourt side and the first platform side; the redevelopment of the interior of the Passenger Building, the atrium, the waiting area and ticket office, new commercial premises, and toilets.
