Chiocciola by Cracking Art

Snail is a work created by the Cracking Art movement in 2012.

That of the group is a philosophy of breaking with classic design, which wants to lead to something different.

The term Cracking Art comes from “to crack”, which means “to break, to break” and also indicates the chemical reaction that transforms crude oil into plastic. With this great project, the group wants to make even more evident the fact that the world is changing and that the artificial is taking over, but it does so in a more ecological way: the works are made of plastic, it is true, but this plastic is recycled. This prevents it from being dispersed in the environment and it is used with a very strong meaning, which also assumes an absolutely symbolic value. Here then are so many colorful snails, and not only, invade indoor and outdoor spaces, public places and cities, to show the world what is really important.
