Claudio was born in Florence Italy and moved to Canada at the age of 4 years old. He grew up in Toronto, Ontario and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School, George Harvey Secondary School and graduated with a Degree in History and English from York University. Claudio enjoyed a successful career in the food industry in sales and marketing. In his retirement he enjoyed working part time at Avis with the great friends he met there.
Claudio volunteered his time at the Knights Table, was a Eucharistic Minister for years and a member of the Knight of Columbus.
He made life changing friendships all along the way of this journey, many of whom he continued to meet with on a weekly basis. Many would say that whether you were meeting him for the first time or have been part of his life for decades he loved you for who you were and always made you feel like you were welcome, appreciated and truly and deeply loved.
Claudio enjoyed the love of sports whether it be as an athlete playing soccer, basketball or football himself, or as a leader and coach, as a spectating parent or grandparent or as a fan of the game.
He loved to travel with Jo-Ann whether it be visiting his relatives in Italy, teaching English in Spain or enjoying the company of his friends at their time-share in Punta Cana. Claudio really and truly loved the many beautiful memories and wonderful friends he and Jo-Ann spent their summers with at Pioneer Point Resort on Buckhorn Lake.
