The world of Pokémon is viewed from a new perspective with the release of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Fire Team Rescue. For the first time in the series, there are no humans trying to hunt and ensnare the magical creatures for use in battle. Players instead take control of a Pokémon in a land beset by natural disasters. To survive, players must group up with other creatures and create a monster rescue team. <br><br>The action involves interacting with other Pokémon and undertaking missions on their behalf that will ultimately save them from their predicaments. Mission types include escorts, deliveries, and more. Players will explore randomly generated, multi-floored dungeons while engaging in strategic, turn-based combat with new link-up attacks. The overall goal is to befriend and rescue as many Pokémon as possible.

    Amazing game, extremely special and different from the normal pokemon games.

    At first you get a little personality quiz to see which pokemon type you're most similar to, then you have to choose another pokemon so it can be your partner through out the entire game. The story is just marvelous, I got really attached to it. At first I was confused, but then after you start completing missions the story progresses. You can actually play as all the pokemon who join your team! It's an amazing game, I highly recommend it. Now don't get tired wandering through all those dungeon floors! And stock up on Oran berries cause it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

    Pokemon mystery dungeon. Works as promised. good game.

    I got the copy pretty quick and was a little concerned when it didn't boot up the first time. But I forget these old games need the contacts cleaned a little before working. Opened the cart and cleaned it. Put it back together. Works perfectly. No complaints.

    I found this to be an excellent game that once again provided many many hours of entertainment whether it be in the car or simply at home; basically, very useful for burning some extra time. In this game, you begin by taking a quiz about you e.g. Homework habits, Personal behavior, etc. After completing this quiz of sorts, the game applies you to a Pokemon that is most like you; such as Charmander, Bulbasaur, etc. Once you have your Pokemon chosen, you then embark on missions to save 'Pokemons in distress' and get paid for doing so! Then, with Pikachu, you create a Rescue Team in which you name! Altogether, just like every other Pokemon game that has been released, I would highly recommend this game for anyone of any age! It is very fun and easy to catch onto! Also, this game will not lose ...

    Great game with good writing and character development

    Modern pokemon games do their best to try and tell a story, but they don't come close to the story of the original mystery dungeon game. This game has good gameplay, compelling story and it was cheap!

    A New Experience

    I've just gotten a new Game Boy (after I lost my old one). I could remember that with my old one, my favorite game had been a Pokemon game. We got this game not knowing exactly what it was, but I knew that it would be lots of fun. I started playing it Friday night, and I fell asleep on the couch with it still in my hands, and woke up the next morning and found it on the ground next to the couch. The thing that makes this game so different is that it's based off of the new series of Pokemon, where one boy mysteriously turns into a Pokemon, finds some other pokemon, which befriend him, and becomes part of a rescue team, helping other pokemon in trouble.
