About this product

Product Information

Get down and dirty on more than 30 indoor and outdoor tracks with Motocross Madness from Microsoft. Test your stunt execution skills in the Stunt Quarry, or go for the gold in a National Race, on the Baja circuit, or go Supercross. Compete against computer generated opponents or in a multi player game via modem, serial cable or over the Internet or a LAN.

Choose from practice, single-event, or tournament modes in the Baja, National Race and Supercross events or choose season in National Race or Supercross. Customize your bike for each race in the garage, where you can modify engine suspension and tires for that extra edge on the course.

Motocross Madness features a track editor allowing you to select from a number of different riders and bikes. To play, a fully Direct3D compatible 3D graphics card is required.

The graphics quality is modifiable as you can turn off many of the graphics effects to help less capable systems deliver adequate game play. Also to help performance on low end systems Motocross Madness supports a good range of screen resolutions. A wide range of game control devices is also supported including: keyboard, mouse, game pad and joystick.

Minimum, Typical and Full installs are available, with the full install requiring a whopping 420 megabytes of hard drive space (excludes install of the track editor which requires an additional 7 MB).

  • Windows 98 Will Never DIE

Lost in the world of Windows 98 and all the stacks of CD's of games and programs of yesterday. I have several computers from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Now added to my collection Windows 98 SE. I have so many good children games my little ones love to play in Windows 98. To many to just throw away because Windows 10 will not load a 16 or 32 bit program. Yea sometimes there is a work around but you can not take advantage of the complete program. They just don't work right. I started with computers when it was DOS 3.2 and and IBM XT computer. Still love to play with old DOS.
