Well first off I am a big fan of the Hulk after seeing the movie. I didnt enjoy the first Hulk game that much because the Hulk couldn't even run or destroy much of anything in the enviorment of the game. But "The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction" is so different. The Hulk can do everything he couldn't do in the first installment of the game. Jumping, Running, Cool moves, Super Destructable enviorments, etc. But the gme has 2 things that bug me . First is the Hulk health systems in this game, its "Devil May Cry" all over again. The Hulks health dops really fast when attacted; in the first game your health did not go as fast. Second, in the first game the CPU's targeting was not as spot on as in "The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction " which is not always a good thing. Since the CPU can lock on to The Hulk so easily it becomes annoying the evade the missiles it shoots at you. Even when jumping around and running or any other manuver you find you Health dropping very quckily. But other than that this games a blast espically if your a Hulk fan. Also the side missions are boring and repedative.Read full review
There's nothing quite like chucking a city bus from the top of a skyscraper to unwind after a long day of work and kids. In this game, there are no morals to dictate what the Hulk can and cannot do, since a casual stroll through the city will result in lethal police force just as ripping that city up will. The game play is very similar to Grand Theft Auto, in the respect that the Hulk can cruise around a massive city or a likewise massive desert military base, bypassing all missions and side missions, focusing only on causing mayhem; i.e., catching rocket propelled missiles and flinging them back at attackers; playing urban golf with an oil rig pump and a large metal sphere; surfing through the city, destroying everything come into contact, on a smashed ambulance; leaping over city blocks; picking up innocent pedetrians and slamming them down like a football spiking; or just tossing them into outer space; and on, and on, and on, and on. Meanwhile, I found the missions very entertaining; short but sweet. The difficulty level is often cited as a drawback, and I understand this perspective, but I haven't found the difficulty to detract from the enjoyment of the game, it only, to me, makes it more fun, unlike some games which seem to be difficult just for the sake of being difficult; with Ultimate Destruction the challenge is necessary to counter the otherwise unlimited and unstoppable sheer power that the Hulk is endowed with in the game otherwise. I could go on about this game but I have homework to do.Read full review
OMG!!!!!!! This game is awesome!! Just imagine being a massive green monster that can pick up cars, rip them in half, and use the two halves as boxing gloves to beat the snot outta the baddies. Sounds cool, eh? You can do this and so much more in this well-crafted game. Its a free-roaming game such as GTA or Spiderman 2 and such, but you're the Incredible Hulk. Fun Times include crushing a bus and street surfing on it, Hammer-throwing a tank, Riding aircraft til their demise, Target practice by throwing missles, and getting a big pipe and playing homerun derby w/ human soldiers. Batter Up!!! I recomend this game to anyone who loves Superheroes, Free-roaming games, or people who just feel like being a big green monster.
You play as Hulk, and can destroy everything from cars to buildings. Hulk can turn some objects into weapons, which helps take down enemies. In story mode you destroy, retrieve, or defend various objects and vehicles. You also get codes that do special things to the gameplay. The only issue is semi problematic camera angles, but otherwise, it is an excellent game. This game is an improved version of HULK, the previous game. The main improvement is getting rid of Bruce Banner Levels. It is very fun to roam around as Hulk destroying everything in your path. I would definitely recommend the game.
This is GTA (Grand Theft Auto) but better, no need to steal a car when you can just launch one at the on coming military fighter choppers. The controlling is initially difficult but once you get the hang of it "let the good times roll". Hulk U.D. is addicting. The action is non-stop and the enjoyment follows suit. This game is great for anyone who needs a little stress relief and even better for comic book/super hero/hulk fans. This game is a must have in any respectable game collection. If you like destruction you will not be disapointed.
