About this product

Product Information

The Need for Speed goes back underground, to add more customization and role-playing-styled challenges to the long-running racing series. This follow-up steers players though the main drags and back-alleys of an interactive city, which is divided into five different neighborhoods. By seeking out street races and earning a reputation, players will be able to acquire faster, more powerful automobiles and extensive customization options. The game is designed to represent the "tuner lifestyle," and the main mode of play has virtual street racers exploring the city on their own, to find pick-up races and learn of the best places to get new parts. Need for Speed Underground 2 is hosted by Brooke Burke, known for her role on the E! Entertainment television network's Wild On series. The game features licensed automobiles from a number of manufacturers, including Ford, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

  • WOW!!! THIS GAME IS AMAZING

WOW I RENTED THIS GAME AND IT IS SOOOOOOOO SWEET!! YOU START OUT WITH ONE STOCK CAR FROM THE SHOP AND AS YOU WIN RACES YOU SOUP UP YOUR CAR AND EVENTUALLY BUY OTHER CARS. THEN THE RACE AWARD MONEY GETS HIGHER SO YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR CAR TO THE ULTAMATE DRIVING MACHINE!!!! YOU CAN DRIVE ANY WHERE YOU WANT IN THE CITY AND ASK ANY RACER ON THE ROAD TO RACE YOU IN A OUTDISTANCE RACE!!! YOU WIN AND YOU GET $100-$300 BUCKS!! THERE ARE SO MANY SHOPS YOU CAN GO TO. YOU CAN ENHANCE YOUR CAR FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE OF GO GET A PAINT JOB AND GET NEW HOODS, ROOF SCOOPS, SIDE SKIRTS, BACK AND FRONT FENDERS, AND MUCH MUCH MORE.

  • So much blur you’d think you were actually driving

This game is pretty fun all around, but hasn’t aged all too well

  • The best game ever to be released by need for speed

the reason i bought the game is because that in this game you drive around finding race missions by yourself with a gps system a cingular sms messaging system and every time you win a certain race a sponser wants you to be on their side to win races to earn money to sweeten up your ride and you car is rated on a ten-star rating system and the best part you can unlock stuff to put on your ride and unlock cars and other stuff. Like right now i have a RX-7 that can do 189mph on 5th gear and 240mph on 6th gear and i am unstoppable in that game nobody can beat me in this game just to play me you have to bet something to race me but i end up winning all races

  • Better than ps2 version not as good as the xbox one

Okay I'm really not a gamer I've sold the versions of this game for ps2 xbox gamecube.......As far as graphix go I would say the gamecube version is the best....As far as play control goes I would say the xbox is the best....The ps2 version to me is inferior to the GMCB and xbox versions of this game in graphix....Plus I always just liked the xbox and gamecube controllers over the ps2 ones
