About this product

Product Information

Interplay's post-apocalyptic role-playing game series makes its console debut with the release of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, an action-oriented take on 2001's Fallout Tactics for the computer. The action is viewed from a third-person perspective as players guide their party of three characters, the Brotherhood of Steel, across barren wastelands and underground vaults to find precious resources and to stop a plot that threatens the fragile existence of humanity. A group of mutant raiders plans on acquiring a device that could turn mankind into mutants, but only if they can get to it before the Brotherhood.

Combat in this universe, which borrows its look and style from 1950s science fiction, is an important part of survival, whether its fighting scorpions crawling their way across the sand or defending against marauding pirates looking to cause trouble. One or two players will be able to attack enemies using more than 50 melee, ranged, and explosive weapons. An auto targeting system is used to isolate enemies and to quickly switch between multiple threats. As players earn more experience in combat, they can help increase each character's traits, abilities, and strengths in the race to save humanity from extinction.

  • Very fun game...Only plays on original xbox though.

This is the next best thing to playing Fallout 3... pretty easy game play and real time battles, much better than previous versions of fallout... plus, now that i am also playing Fallout 3, I can see where a lot of things came from in the game and how the story works together... Would recommend this to anyone that likes fallout, or even if they just love Mad Max movies... you will love it...

  • Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (Xbox)

Cheap, but good rpg. goes off the old fallout storyline, which makes it a little better. only downside is the camera view/angle. game is pretty easy but thats ok with me. great cheapo game.

  • Fallout Brotherhood of Steel (Xbox & PS2)

In comparison to the original Fallout, Fallout 2 & Fallout Tactics Brotherhood of Steel, by Interplay/Black Isle Studios, for PC, these 2 versions fail to follow the same RPG layout. The camera angle really is lacking, which is the major downfall for this game. I know Interplay is going back to making the next Fallout game to be a massive online RPG, which is awesome. These Xbox & PS2 versions may be more to your taste. But, for an original RPG fan, they don't cut it.

  • For all Fallout Fans.

If you're a Fallout fan, which is everyone, you will like this game. Somewhat of a dungeon grinder but it does have the famous dialogue choices fallout is known for.

  • Excellent title....but...to good for this game

This game is really basic...the graphics are slow and poor....more of a 32m system....Nothing like it's brother games like "Balders Gate". Hard to see your charactor..and the combat is to hard to judge. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone.
