  • A poor way to kill time

Killing Time is a FPS that was released in 1995 for the 3DO console, then was later ported to PC and Mac in 1996. This game tries to be another memorable first person shooter in a sea of Doom clones. It fails miserably. First off the frame rate is terrible. Even walking with no action on screen causes slowdown for no apparent reason. The beginning of the game has you trying to find your way out of a maze while battling ducks, yes ducks! This will surely induce the worst of headaches from the poor controls causing the screen to spin everywhere. Also I think having the FMV in the game was an interesting concept but was executed very poorly. It causes loading errors with the FMV characters reappearing every time you walk to the area again only seconds later. This is why the frame rate ...

  • A true work of art

Awesome game, so great in fact their talking about remaking it. When this game came out , it was a stand alone original. I was totally engrossed in this game. I love everything about it. Doom didn’t hold a candle to this game back then. Graphics, storyline, environments were superior to anything else. I still play it today, plus a whole other host of 3DO games. I wish 3DO would rise, and destroy the competition again. 3DO forever!!!

  • Underrated FPS

This was a great game, very unique FPS with digitized enemies, a fully 3D environment of mazes and rooms within a huge mansion. The controls can be jumpy at times, but they become less obvious as you play further. If you like Doom, Wolfenstein 3D or any other classic FPS's then be sure to give this one a look.

  • FPS Classic on 3DO

The Game came in great condition as expected. Killing Time for 3DO is a great FPS Game Classic. The game may be dated compare to modern FPS games for today's consoles but it is still a legend of FPS hopefully they will update this game and a lot of other classics to modern consoles & PC as well!

  • Not that bad. . .

Killing Time is a decent first person shooter for 1995. The graphics are top notch however the game play is kind of hindered by the relatively slow frame rate at times. This game is gory and is definitely not for kids. With today's crop of shooters, this game would probably be very frustrating. As far as 3do FPS games go, this is somewhere between the awesome version of Wolfenstein 3d and the awful Doom.
