"I would like to continue with my career in France. My current contract expires in the summer but if they offer me its extension, I will be happy to accept it," Koller said.
"I still love and enjoy football. If that was not the case, even money would not persuade me to play on. And if I am not capable of playing professional football, then I will play for [home town] Smetanova Lhota, I am looking forward to it," he added.
The 34-year-old has scored three goals for Monaco this season but recently the club have not been in good shape.
"We have not won for four games and now we are travelling to Lyon. But there is no reason to panic, our time will come, we just need to be patient," the Czech Republic international said.
When asked if he would return to play professional football in the Czech Republic's top flight, Koller replied:
"The only club I would see myself playing for are Bohemians 1905. I have always been a fan of them. The home games are always sold-out and played in great atmosphere."
